Boulder County sponsored a plein aire "paintout" this summer, whereupon local artists went to various beautiful properties set aside by our county over the years as open space. I chose this pastoral view east of the Boulder Flatirons. The clouds you can see on the horizon quickly came in and soon drenched me!
