NEW ADMINISTRATOR
I have agreed to take this group over as administrator in order to feature and promote small and medium scale art - either (1) vintage in age or (2) photographs aged to look vintage (to be sold as postcards, greeting cards, or medium sized prints (8x10) - no larger).

ANSWER THIS QUESTION BEFORE POSTING
Will my image be accepted into this group? Does my image look vintage enough? Please contact me prior to posting to avoid disappointment. Re-working other people's art may not be considered as I usually like to see original work. I have accepted work created by other artists but reworked with your own hand. I prefer to stay away from famous or well known artists - with your hand reworking the image. This group does not accept all works of art.

TYPES OF IMAGES
Vintage photographs of may be of historic buildings, historic sites, people (be careful about whose image you are reworking), groups, items, and travel destinations. The goal of this group is to showcase work appearing to look vintage, aged, or historically dated. If the administrator feels you did not rework the image 'enough' - it will not be accepted.

COPYRIGHT LAW
As a professional photographer, it has always been my understanding that people's work, no matter how large or small, is protected under copyright law for 100 years. For this reason, I always give credit to all known and unknown, alive or deceased, if reproducing images, especially for monetary payment.

SIZE FOR REPRODUCTION
Size of reproduction and printing. It is nearly impossible to get a good reproduction of an image small in size or dark in color to NOT look muddy or lacking in clarity. Therefore, since the goal is to sell your artwork, please be conscious of pixel expansion, clarity, and light issues in your creation or uploading of yours/others work.

CRITERIA
Features for this group will be determined based on (1) interest, (2) suitability for group, (3) clarity, (4) credit given to known or unknown photographer/artist (please indicate in your dialogue about the origin of image or if its original work), and (5) printing quality.
